A new smartphone from BlackBerry is in the makes and it turns out that the phone is a Flip a.k.a Clamshell phone and boosts a full QWERTY with an optical trackpad. It has been named as BlackBerry 9670 Flip and it will feature a touchscreen, but OS 6.0 was shown running on the device’s 480 X 360 display.
Currently the 9670 Flip is operating on a CDMA radio, though Research in Motion is working on porting the product to be HSPA compatible for GSM networks. Other specs include a 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, microUSB and microSD memory slot, and a large external display.
