Nokia C3 announced, Social Networking on The Go.

The Nokia C3 is here for Social Networking on the Go, Pretty much like the INQ Chat 3G but this phone lacks 3G but has Wifi. The phone will be the most easy on the wallet amongst the other two announced Phones from Nokia the C6 and the E5. It is the first phone ever to have Wifi over an Symbian Series 40. The phone has a 2.4″ 262K-color display of QVGA resolution and a full QWERTY keyboard. The device will be launched in Q2 of 2010 in Slate Grey, Golden White and Hot Pink colours for an estimated price of  $131  before taxes and subsides. It also packs free turn-by-turn OVI Maps, Opera Mini, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and support for up to 8 GB of removable memory.

The Nokia E5 Business Phone Announced, Successor To the E72

The E71 and the E72 were very popular phones made by Nokia to Date.  And now their successor the E5 seeks to carry on the legacy. The device will be released in the third quarter of 2010 with colours like-Carbon Black, Chalk White, Sky Blue, Copper Brown, and Silver Grey. The device will also be compatible with AT&T 3G in the US.  The device seeks to give competition to the Blackberry Bold2 as it has mostly resembling/better features including Nokia’s  messaging client for emails, Social networking support, chat, and free OVI Maps for turn-by-turn voice guided GPS navigation which is also included free of charge. Nokia plan to carry the era of  NON_Touchscreen devices for the E series and also the device has a QVGA resolution unlike the BlackBerrys which have high resolution HVGA screens. The device packs a 5 Mega Pixel snapper with LED Flash. The E5 resembles its siblings the E71 and the E72. For more specs of the device head to Nokia. Check out the video below:

Now use Ubuntu with Wifi Support on HTC Touch Pro2

A few months ago, we showed you how to run Ubuntu on a Touch Pro2. But unfortunately the version was unable to use the device’s Inbuilt Wifi. Now all the misery ends, and the latest builds add more functionality, like WiFi, web browser, screen rotation, and more. To run it, simply transfer the files to your storage card, run Haret.exe  and you are booted in Ubuntu.

Video: HTC Legend Unboxing!

As we all know that the HTC Legend is the successor to the HTC Hero and is also built with a single block of Aluminum which makes it extremely durable.

The phone runs on Android 2.1 along with the Latest version of HTC’s Sense UI. The screen is an Amoled display which makes it very less power consuming and better visual appearance than of other devices.

Maemo Shown Running on an HTC HD2: Fake?

Windows Mobile devices  are the most user friendly devices and allow customization like no other OS. We can even run other OSs on it like Linux,Ubuntu,Android and now we have the above video which shows Maemo OS running on An HTC HD2. I feel that it may be fake as we can do so via an VNC client to access an Nokia N900  through the HTC HD2 to create a sort of Remote Desktop Connection.
