June 14th, 2010Microsoft wants to remind you and all manufacturers, sales of Windows XP will end on October 22 this year. After that date all netbooks are sold with Windows 7 – probably Starter Edition. Netbooks are very basic Windows XP second lease on life, but its end is so near. According to Microsoft came 81% of all netbooks sold in the U.S. in April 2010 with the Windows 7 pre-installed, so at the end of Windows XP is not something to worry about. Points also support Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 will end on July 13 – in about a month from now. After that users should upgrade to Service Pack 3 or Windows 7 SP3 support will continue until April 2014 – awesome!
Microsoft renames Project Natal to Microsoft Kinect.
June 14th, 2010Kinect (formerly known as Project Natal is a game of “controller-free entertainment experience” by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 video game platform. On the basis of an add-on peripherals for the Xbox 360 allows users to to control and interact with the Xbox 360 without having to play a gaming device through a physical interface through gestures, voice commands, or submit articles and images. The device will also be compatible with AT&T 3G in the US. The device seeks to give competition to the Blackberry Bold2 as it has mostly resembling/better features including Nokia’s messaging client for emails, Social networking support, chat, and free OVI Maps for turn-by-turn voice guided GPS navigation which is also included free of charge. Nokia plan to carry the era of NON_Touchscreen devices for the E series and also the device has a QVGA resolution unlike the BlackBerrys which have high resolution HVGA screens. It’s official, T-Mobile Netherlands has announced the Launch of BlackBerry Bold2 a.k.a Bold 9700 exclusively in White. We hope that RIM (Research In Motion) launch the device in white as well as other colours for the Fashion oriented people in other countries as well.

April 6th, 2010The Snapdragon Processor was the fastest Mobile Processor at the time of its launch. But now it seems that its days of glory are over. The Samsung Hummingbird chipset design on the Galaxy S and the A4 proprietary chipset found on the iPad and next-generation iPhone are based on the ARM Cortex A8 reference design and integrates a PowerVR GPU. The A4 is much faster than the Snapdragon as it loads websites 9% faster and the more graphic intensive sites are being rendered up to a whopping 60% faster.
