There is only one flaw – due to the resistive nature of the screen, one of your fingers should stay still, while the other moves.

Hello Readers, today I am going to share a very useful software that allows you to use GPS navigation on your GPS enabled devices at no cost at all. Normally we have to pay for a data plan for the mapping application to work, but no more. Trekbuddy is an application that allows us to all the navigation we want at no cost whatsoever. The good thing is that this app is compatible with all mobile OSs and runs very smooth. Just download the app, install it on your device and bingo. But you will need to download maps which is very simple. just follow the steps given below in order to make things work:

1. Download the app for all the platforms from here.
2. Install it on your device.
3. Download maps:

• Go to this page.
• Search for the area of which you want a map of.
• Select the zoom level of your choice.
• At the bottom of the page you will see preview and download map.
• Downloading the map will give you a .tar file
• Copy this file to your device.

4. Now  run the app on your device and select load map from the menu and search for the map in your device storage.

5. And the job is done.

Note: The app might ask you to allow connections to GPS, please kep in mind that it will not cost you anything and select allow always. I personally am using this on my BlackBerry 8830 World Edition and it is working gr8!.
